Secure Coatings is a firefighter-owned epoxy flooring contractor working out of a shop and showroom on NW Enterprise Dr. Being an actual Port St. Lucie epoxy floor company, rather than a crew that drives up from Broward for the day, changes how the work runs: estimates happen quickly, the sample boards are ten minutes away, and warranty service does not require anyone to schedule a road trip.
The bulk of what we install here is flake epoxy garage flooring, but the same crew handles metallic epoxy, quartz systems, pool deck and patio coatings, and commercial floor coatings for shops and light industrial space along the Enterprise Dr and Glades Cut Off corridors.
Every quote starts with a free on-site visit. We measure, moisture test the slab, photograph the cracks and the existing coating if there is one, and hand back written pricing that reflects the real condition of your concrete rather than a per-square-foot guess made over the phone.
Full flake sample boards sit under real light at 651 NW Enterprise Dr. Judging a floor from a phone screen is how people end up with a color they regret.
Every slab gets mechanical profiling with dust-extraction grinders. Acid etching does not open a power-troweled St. Lucie County slab far enough to matter.
Newer Tradition and Riverland pours still release vapor. We meter the slab and put the number in the estimate so nobody is surprised by a primer upgrade.
Backed locally. A callback is a fifteen-minute drive, which is a very direct incentive to install it right the first time.
Concrete surface preparation is roughly two thirds of the labor on a Port St. Lucie job and effectively all of the risk. We run diamond grinders with HEPA dust extraction across the entire slab until the surface reads as an open, uniformly profiled substrate rather than a sealed, glassy one.
After grinding, cracks get chased and filled with a rigid repair resin, control joints are treated according to how the bay will be used, and spalled apron edges are rebuilt. Only then do we moisture test, because a ground slab gives an honest reading and a sealed one does not.
This is the step that separates professional epoxy installation from a weekend kit. Diamond-ground concrete gives the base coat somewhere mechanical to lock into, which is exactly what a delaminating warranty is a promise about.
Full-broadcast flake is the workhorse system in Port St. Lucie. Vinyl chip is thrown to refusal into a pigmented base coat, scraped, vacuumed, and locked under a UV-stable topcoat. The texture hides slab imperfections, adds slip resistance when the floor is wet, and shrugs off the dropped tools and spilled coolant a working garage generates.
